Good stuff, love the stationary and arts stuff! Good quality and affordable prices.. wide range of books, arts, toys, creativity books for kids, scratch books. Watch out for sale period, you get pretty good discounts
I would rate 0 if I could. Helen behind the till was the rudest person I have ever met. A balloon I bought in the twickenham shop burst because she sold me one that was damaged. I went to the shop and she preceded to raise her voice saying I was lying and berating me infront of customers. Her attitude was honestly the worst thing I’ve ever seen.
Good range of cheap art supplies and the sort of books bought as gifts for people who don't read
Great store for any stationary supplies, hobby materials, clays, woods, brushes, small games, hobby books, novels and lots of other things. You can buy gifts or re-stock any material you need. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I visit this store quite often.
Brilliant store. Dog friendly, Helpful and friendly staff, Aircon in the hot summer days and a Vast range of good stock. Will be returning.
The Twickenham store is a massive plus for the town. It's well stocked and easy to get around. It has lots of craft, puzzles books etc All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Donna is a great asset, she asks people around the store if they need any help as she goes about her work. This particular store works as a team. I really hope this store stays in Twickenham.
Just amazing. Was looking for last min balloons and in desparate need of helium. Lovely lady with red hair, helped me out massively. Great deals, and always something new to find. I literally live there it’s my second home
I recently vacated my home. So knowing this, me and my friend Lenneby visited "the works" looking for some house warming stationary. However I was disgusted to find out that this horror show of a shop did not sell 2 mm ball point pens, and they only sold "Felt Tips!" Or some sort of peasantry writing device. As me and Lenneby have a great deal of "South- Ealing humour" as my Mama would put it, we simply laughed off the matter. Although, one thing us gentlemen could not laugh off was the fact that "the works" did not sell the finest glue made from vegan recycled goose menuer. This greatly frustrates me and pushed me past the point of no return. So, I took my business elsewhere. To WH Smith's located in Hammersmith
Brilliant place. You can get everything from children's games, reading and colouring books to adult books ranging from different cook books to all about Crystals and everything inbetween. Colouring pens and pencils even magnifying glass. VERY diverse store and VERY reasonable prices. Go check out your local store, great for presents from age 3 to 90.
Went in on a mission to find some double sided velcro dots so I could make a book for my non verbal son. The shop didn't have any however one of the lovely ladies working there gave me some from her own supply so I could make it. I'm so grateful and the book has been a great success.
