We had the best Sunday lunch we’ve ever had at the Woolpack . The pub is gorgeous, staff are lovely - funny and professional - my partner had the roast beef and I didn’t get a word out of him for the whole meal as he was enjoying it so much. I don’t eat meat and have suffered at the hands of dubious nut roasts across the entire county of Kent, but not at the Woolpack! Amazing nut roast - crispy and delicious. The vegetables were also stars in their own right - nothing heated up in a microwave etc. . . And the Yorkshire pudding was superb . . Love Love Love this Sunday roast, and would literally crawl on hands and knees from North Kent to go again . .
The food here is absolutely superb! I could not fault one thing on my plate. What could have been an average chicken was elevated above expectations. My husbands lamb was another level of excellence and the chocolate desert took us to heaven. I would like to mention the bar girl who assured us the food was good and was really attentive and super friendly
My partner and I dropped in for a quick meal after a long day visiting London, and were blown away.nnThe food, service and attentive staff were fantastic - I ordered the market fish of the day which had been the most perfectly cooked tender fillets of Sea Bream; and my partner had ordered Pie of the Day which had been a curried lamb. Both dishes were impeccably presented, generously sized and promptly served hot! Fabulous additions to their summer menu.nnThe staff were very friendly, atmosphere and ambience had felt very cosy in the dining room with background noise of family friendly chatter. In the bar area they were playing Thursday Trivia, so a lively atmosphere with all patrons and staff.nnNourishing food, great staff and lovely location. Five stars.
Fantastic pub in the heart of Tenterden. Well worth stopping by if you’re in the town. Staff were very friendly and they’ve got a brilliant selection of local beers on tap. Can imagine it’s a fantastic pub in the winter as well. Nice to see a pub with character left as well.
Lovely pub with really nice food. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Good selection of meals and our table of 4 all had something different and it was all delicious
