We stopped for a post walk pint and snack and the atmosphere was really nice. Not loads of parking but we got a space out the front. We shared the soup of the day which was mushroom and really tasty, the bread came out warm but it wasn’t the nicest which let it down. We also shared the posh fish finger ciabatta and again the bread was disappointing as well as the lack of actual fish to bread ratio, with hardly any sign of the sauce inside. Decent chips though.nWould still come again to try more things.
Popped in here for the wife's birthday. We had booked in advance but when we arrived they could find our booking, they where very apologetic and found us a table.nFood was great the calamari was amazing. Glad we went.nnOverall a great experience, only let down by the booking mistake.
Food were well priced and pretty decent. The portion of mash for the pie could've been a little more generous. Otherwise, couldn't really fault. The fish was out of this world! So fresh and crisp! Extremely dog friendly and they accommodated our needy boys amazingly!!
Very nice Sunday lunch at a very reasonable price. Good service and helpful staff. I had the Farmyard choice which includes all the meat options, great to! Veg comes in a separate dish. Very busy at lunchtime so glad we booked. Would definitely recommend.
Stopped in on the off chance of a Sunday dinner. Great service, very welcoming. Food was amazing for a good price. Atmosphere was great, football on the TV but not to rowdy. Deffinalty visiting again.
