Quality of food is not good for the price. Disappointed and had to throw food away. It is a popular place but I feel they need to look at what has changed over the years.

Used to come regularly years ago. First time I've been here since they have refurbished it. Looks very nice. Fish and chips still as tasty as I remembered them!

Fair play this is a good chippy. Sometimes there's a bit of a que but it's worth the wait, it's cheaper than other chippy's in the area and nicer.

First visit to Ruddy's and what a disappointment. The woman that served us was sullen and certainly didn't want to make eye contact or talk. The food was as bad as the service. My son's burger was inedible plus had two hairs on it. The portion of chips was tiny, my usual chippy are always more than generous. When she had bagged up the food she just looked at me, walked away and turned her back to me.  I asked if that was all of it and received a curt 'yes'. So rude. Never again.
