Very friendly staff, left car in the car park several spaces as we were not coming back till about 9pm met at the door by a young man with our keys. Big double bed, shower in our small bathroom with shower gel loads of towels but no soap. There was tea and coffee with kettle and lovely biscuits. The room was lovely and warm and the summer duvet was light but cosy.nBreakfast was excellent thick bacon good sausage and black pudding fresh coffee and big pot of tea brown and white toast with cut square butter not little sealed packs looks like home made jam and marmaladeso much better. Recommend

We stayed here as attending a wedding function at a nearby hotel.  The owners Lilian and Willie were amazing hosts and very friendly.nnThe beds are so comfy had a great sleep and breakfast was top class.nnAlready talking about a returned visit in the summer

Quick one night stay at the Woodhouse. Lovely, authentic staff who make every effort to give you a great stay.nnEasy to find, just off the promenade 10 minute nice walk to the centre of Largs. Easy parking and check in process starts at 2pm.nnI had a single room which was more than enough. Nice and cozy with a tv, shower/loo and a nice window view.nnThere's a nice restaurant and bar with plenty to drink. If it's sunny the garden looks lovely but I didn't get a break in the weather to test that out.nnBreakfast was fantastic, has a nice little buffet of cereal, yogurt and fruit. I opted for the cooked breakfast which came out quickly and perfectly cooked. You can add black pudding, haggis or mushrooms. And of course tea/coffee.nnI'm struggling to offer an improvement,.it really was great..maybe the only tiny one was the bed in room 8 was really squeaky, could probably do with a tightening..: easy fix.nnThank for having me!
