The Woodside Hotel offered a warm welcome and all staff were friendly and serving. The breakfast was very good and well presented. The room we stayed in was very clean but the decor was tired and tatty. A few quid and a few hours work would transform the room.

Comfortable hotel with impressive and comprehensive hearty breakfast choices. The rooms are basic but clean and offer a good night's sleep.

The staff here are awesome. The fish and chips were very nice. The bed was comfortable. 

They recently (July 2017) were donated a guitar to compliment the piano in the bar. Guests were encouraged to play this and I think that is great and a little unique. Really it is all about the service.

Lovely hotel, very cosy. The owners were very welcoming and Lillian was always around for a chat.
