We had our wedding here in September and we could not have asked for a better day. The hotel was stunning and in a great location, everything was clean and you could tell they held a high standard. The staff were amazing and made sure that the day ran smoothly, nothing was too much of an ask and they always made sure to check in on us. The food was delicious and everyone shared the same opinion. We could not thank Brisbane House enough for making our day what it was, we will be forever grateful in the part they played in our special day. If you are looking for a great venue for celebrating any occasion, this is the place to go!
Attended a wedding here, room was nice but 100% overpriced if you ask me. Had better for less many times. Service was pretty poor not enough bar staff, dirty tea cups on breakfast table and when last orders where called the bar shut almost immediately, drinks cleared away and it left a bit of a sour taste, many people had alot to drink that day/night and struggled to get drunk... It's a bold comment but considering how much I drank... I should have been very very drunk and i was not, left me thinking the booze was watered down. Also seems rushed the following day as the next wedding was already showing up as we where getting breakfast etc.. just felt a bit odd like a conveyor belt just get the next ones in.
Was here to attend a wedding. Location is beautiful and the view is great at the main entrance. Dionne the nightshift worker could not have been more welcoming whilst we were waiting in a taxi. Bringing us blankets and inviting us in to charge our phones and wait away from the cold. She is worthy of 6 stars herself for the way she helped us out.
Review for Brisbane House HotelnnVery disappointed with our stay. The room had dirty marks all over the walls I have photos as proof, and the view was directly onto the hotel bins. When we asked to move rooms, we were told the hotel was fully booked – which was untrue, as there were other rooms available.nnTo make matters worse, despite booking with a £100 voucher from MyHotelBreak, we were unexpectedly charged an additional £90 on arrival. This extra cost was never communicated to us at the time of booking, which felt misleading and unfair.nnOverall, the experience was poor, and I would not recommend this hotel. I have contacted MyHotelBreak directly for a refund and compensation.
Brisbane House Hotel in North Ayrshire Largs. We stayed here from 30 August – 1 September. Our view from our room was directly across from the beach. Waking up each morning to the perfect sunrise and watching the waves break on sandy shores was just breathe taking. They have a great breakfast and amazing cappuccino’s and latte’s . Their staff from checking in to the bar, to the breakfast staff, to checking out were all so friendly and helpful and very welcoming. We arrived within 30 minutes prior to the 45th Vikings Festival and parade starting. They allowed us to park in the parking lot hours prior to our check in time. If our daughter ever wants to get married, my husband rates this hotel as the #1 place to book a wedding. Their venue for weddings is so beautiful. Walking trails along the beach for miles. Down the street is the Ferry that can take you over to Isle of Millport. Recommend visiting during your stay.nDefinitely book your reservation for the Park hotel.nJulie and Adam Peters, Oklahoma
