We contacted The Winning Post on short notice after being left extremely disappointed by very large hotel nearby. The staff here were extremely warm and endeavoured to offer us a room at a competitive rate. The room was lovely, it was very cosy and comfortable not to mention spotlessly clean. The atmosphere in the bar and restaurant was warm and familiy orientated. It was always busy which is a clear sign of its success and it wasnt difficult to see why. Excellent little find!

A quirky little pub around 10/15 mins from Windsor a perfect retreat after a busy day at the Royal Windsor horse show 2018. I was very happy with our room it was clean, cosy and comfortable especially the pillows & we had our own little patio doors that lead out in to the garden where wild rabbits were grazing it was just so graceful. The only reason I've given this pub/hotel 4 stars is because of the kerfuffle at dinner time! The food was very nice but things appeared on our plates that weren't stated on the menu & I found that quite bizarre! I did question it regarding our main meal and the waitress didn't really say much apart from I understand your point of veiws! So ok that was that! but much to my disappointment the same happened again with our dessert! The dessert discription on the menu wasn't the same as we were served! By this point I was very confused and clearly stated my disappointment by all of this but unfortunately nothing much was done about it, it was all just very strange. But alas our stay here was very nice and breakfast was delightful although the chef did have his rap music blearing out from the kitchen that was alittle annoying & our morning waitress didn't seemed quite gloomy. Over all I would definitely advise the staff to "fix up and look sharpe" (Dizzy Rascal once said)

Stayed here 2 nights, a lovely village pub atmosphere with good food. The accommodation was very comfortable and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Can highly recommend it.

Great place to stay if visiting Windsor. Has some great history attached.

Food was nice but overpriced. Very cramped, we booked a table for 16 but was given a table for 13. Waited nearly an hour for drinks to be brought to the table.
