We went to The Boot for our Valentine's meal tonight having booked on line after my husband saw an advert on line. The food was good and the service by Keian was attentive and friendly.The price of the bottle of wine was reduced by 50%. However, we just felt that the 'Valentine ambience' was missing! No small vase of flowers on the table...the music was far to funky and upbeat. We thought it would at least have been more romantic and mellow. We just felt that The Boot lost a trick. Why advertise a Valentine's meal and not make it a bit special?

We tried the pub today after hearing some good feedback. The staff were friendly and helpful. After checking out the menu I decided to try the burger and was not disappointed. I would not hesitate to recommend it to my friends.

I live around the corner and have been 4 or 5 times since it was renovated. Beer and gin has been thoroughly sampled and have had some great meals here. Staff are really nice & attentive and the outdoor area at the back is lovely in the better weather

Really amazing and lovely food and not too crowed for lunch time the only thing is that it did take a while for food but other then that was worth the wait xx defo be going back 😁😁😁

Just had a Christmas meal and it was excellent. The service and food was first class and I highly recommend this venue. The host, James, was very attentive and gave superb customer service. Definitely will be returning for further meals.
