An amazing place. Naturally somewhat tricky to find due to location in the cliff-face, but worth it when you arrive. Beautiful decor and a warm welcome on arrival - our children were made to feel very welcome. Indoor and outside seating available - many affording amazing views of the bay. The pancakes were a particular highlight - light and fluffy, some of the best we’ve had anywhere. Coffee was outstanding, latte smooth with a lovely natural sweetness. Eureka Grinder I think a Helios paired with a Rocket machine for those interested. Not sure which coffee brand used, although Union understandably somewhat ubiquitous in these parts! Heads up that lunch service stops at 15:00, only coffee and cake after this until kitchen reopens for dinner service later on. Single toilet available, very clean. There’s also a takeaway counter available outside on the level below.
We found this place by recommendation of a local surfer. We loved it so much that we went back for our next 3 meals, including breakfast! The beach views are great and the sunset is stunning. Dean is a great asset to the restaurant and he was really kind and funny. Can recommend the piggy chips Highly recommend this great little place and its excellent staff. Kid-friendliness: My 10 year old was made to feel really special on his birthday. He loved the food too. I also saw a kids' birthday, where they were treated nicely.
What a gem! A warm and friendly welcome for my wife, pooch and it. The blueberry pancakes were immense and my wife devoured the twisted Avon with egg. The coffee was gorgeous and all reasonably priced. We will return!
We didn't actually plan to visit here but happened across it as we were passing. I must say we were very glad we found it! Decided to have a burger and some chips Cornish sea salt and rosemary along with a very good filter coffee The meal was gorgeous! Presented very well, piping hot, and you could definitely tell it was cooked fresh to order. The view is second to none as well, so all in all we'd highly recommend Sea Spray Special mention must go to our waitress, sadly we didn't get her name, but she was so very polite and full of smiles, something that is lacking in a lot of places these days. All the staff were polite and friendly. Sadly this is our last night in Cornwall this time otherwise we'd have been back again for sure! Will visit 100% when we're in the area again.
Lovely place to eat and watch the world go by. Sat outside in the glorious sunshine. Very accommodating with our dogs, attentive & quick service. Will definitely come back next time we’re down
What a location !->Great place right on the beach . Superb atmosphere and super friendly people with full of energy . Our family had a Avocado breakfast toast which tasted really ,really good ,nice strong coffee and kids pancakes and hot chocolate with marshmallows. Good price and fantastic views from every window . Interesting poster about tides catch my eye . Next time in Newquay we will pop in for sure .
Well I must say the food here is absolutely amazing, great portion size, it all tasted amazing, would definitely recommend this place if your staying down near Fistral beach. 10/10 for food and service .
You have to go here! This used to be the old lifeguard hut and I’m so glad it’s this café now. The food was amazing and service was exceptional. My husband had the blueberry pancakes and he still talking about them. Great coffee and everyone is so friendly too. Make sure you go here!
The staff are so friendly and go out of there way to make you feel welcome And the food is amazing I had the lemon meringue pancakes huge portion for me so they kindly boxed up what I couldn't finish so I could take it home for later. The decaf oat milk latte was so nice I had to have another I'm just upset I only found this place on the last day of my holiday, but I have booked in for my tea
Wonderful spot. Lovely and welcoming staff. Dog friendly. Fantastic food and drinks. Well worth a visit!
