Visited several times, they do a really nice breakfast, with little waiting and a friendly smile. The toast is done perfectly. Plenty of seating inside or outside and the views are great. Parking: Also parking for about 10 cars. It's a bit on the slope though.
View. Parking. Cake. Outdoor seating. Location. All these things were great. Seagulls an issue for some!! Surprised that the bridge and boat have such a short season.
Excellent lobsters, friendly staff, amazing views!! What’s not to like! We will be back!!
OMG - what a find. The most gorgeous views ever. Plenty of tables outside. Excellent service & the food is lovely. Pricing is great. Highly recommended.
We only discovered Fern Pit Cafe on this visit, can't believe we've never been before. Friendly service and delicious food, all very COVID secure, have been twice now and will definitely be back. And .. the views are stunning
This place is lovely. Staff are super nice, food is brilliant and seating is relaxing, spacious and cozy especially outside on a hot day. This place is perfect for a coffee, lunch and a quick stop. It also leads straight down to Crantock, which means on a low tide it is accessible to and from the beach. It has some awesome views also. Great place to go.
Amazing place staff are lovely and welcoming
This Cafe delivers on every level! Beautiful setting over looking the estuary across to Crantock Beach from the cafes' terraced gardens on the edge of the Pentire Headland. Despite covid restrictions which meant the café ferry across the estuary and the footpath down was closed, the staff at the café were extremely helpful, friendly and were more than happy to make up a packed lunch for me for the day... I ordered Crab sandwiches and when I opened the box later..found a lovely dressed salad to go with! ..a hidden piece of Newquay paradise..with intimate corners to sit in the terraced gardens when the weather allows. A lovely find!
Not cheap but the views and food are worth it. They serve gluten free choices which may help some. The place is quite quirky with a old English feel. The gents toilet is around the back and could do with a makeover. There are plenty of tables, inside and out.
Glorious spot for a crab sandwich on granary request without butter, if butter doesn’t float your crab. Take cash if you’re catching the ferry..
