Twickenham has another jewel, this pub which welcomes you with its very English ambience. A lovely place to chill with friends and family. The bar is well equipped and the food menu too is sufficient for a quick bite. Old lonesome people too sit with their glass basking in the happy environment around them distracting them from their uneventful lives. Ambience -Relaxing Price-Very Reasonable Service-Good.
Friday 21st November 2022 - 14:15 - Twickenham Entrance is on street level but with manual doors. A rather large and busy pub. The table hadn’t been wiped down since the last customer but I told the lady behind the bar and she promptly came out and wiped down the table. We ordered on the app and we went for the unlimited coffee refill; i thought the cups were brought out promptly but the lad serving us apologised for the delay. I went for the large mixed grill and my friend went for the all day brunch. As you can see from the pictures a really nice plate of food. Cooked perfectly, runny eggs, served promptly and hot, what more could you want. Two meals and unlimited hit drinks for just shy of £20. My only gripe is only one coffee machine working but apart from that a nice meal in a nice pub. Would definitely come again.
A top Wetherspoons. Staff pleasant. Food well prepared. Good range of beers. Will seek it out whenever in the area. Probably best avoided when Harlequins are at home unless you are a rugby fan.
First time eating in here and got the large veggie breakfast with unlimited hot drink. Bargain!! All together, including unlimited hot drinks, cost almost £7
The spoons at the heart of rugby with plenty of rugby related tidbits. Nice, well laid out pub with plenty of room to move about not sure whether that would be the case on match day. There were TV screens on showing rugby, which is a much welcomed change to the usual fare. The usual seating options available and the staff were nice- keeping the place clean and tidy. The Guinness was excellent as was the Doom Bar.
Great location but more importantly I was impressed by the rich history displayed in the artwork hanging around. Talking about times and culture from the victorian era. Fish and chips was amazing and service was smooth also. Kudos.
Good pub not too far from the ground , good beer slightly chaotic bar staff , but it was very busy
Very fast service inspite of food being ordered for 5 people. Drinks were served at the same time. Impressed considering fully capacity on a Wednesday. Quantity shown in the pics is fine for the price, prawns were fresh and tasty.
One of the best Wetherspoons I’ve been to. Been going here for years. Massive pub with a nice garden and good atmosphere with friendly staff
Good place every relatively reasonable price than other pubs in town. Always crowded. Don't go on rugby day
