Lovely stay for an amazing price. Very welcoming house, lots of useful technology that increased comfort, and one of the best meals we had in London at the local pub. Look no further if you need somewhere to stay for great value!Rooms: 5/5
The room was freezing. There was cold air circulating. I put the temperature up to the max 28 degrees on the panels by the bed but this did not work. I called reception and they said they would do it from there and in 40 minutes the room would be warm. An hour later it was still freezing. I called again, they came to have a look and said sorry, that a maintenance person would look at it in the morning - not much use when I'm leaving first thing in the morning. I asked for a different room or for a heater - neither possible as apparently the hotel was fully booked. They offered me extra sheets and a complementary drink at the bar but I declined. I expected to have the basics i.e. not have to freeze...
Stayed 6 nights. First of all, I want to start with the area which was a suburb where there were foreign shops and restaurants! scary road and long distance from the train to the hotel. You had to ring the front door and then it couldn't be unlocked, so you had to enter via the bare entrance. The lift was broken so you had to take the stairs. I had a room on the second floor junior suite ! don't know where to start about the room, the carpet was dirty and full of various stains, uninsulated windows so you could hear all the traffic and cars and people shouting and talking. When larger cars drove by, the whole room trembled. a beeping alarm from the outside that repeated all the time, which was annoying at the time. Everything you touched was broken and didn't work like the phone, lights, floor heating for the TV, the handle for the bathtub. The AC for heating did not work, even though I turned up the heat on the display, nothing happened. Bath tv didn't work either. The only thing that was positive about the place was that he who stood at the reception helped me carry my suitcase up and down. The room was newly renovated apart from the disgusting carpet and what was under the carpet that made noise when you walked on it. many chancellors on tv and mini bar. cleaning every day even if you didn't ask for it. I will never choose this hotel again unfortunately and I want to warn everyone not to be deceived by the pictures of the hotel!
The staff is friendly, but this is certainly not a comfortable stay. The carpet and comforter in the room were stained and the room just looked dingy and cramped. The faucet in the bathroom leaked at the base, all over the countertop. The room was freezing cold during the day, and WAY too hot at night. Walls are thin and you can hear everything going on around you. The bar area was also pretty dead, even on Friday/Saturday night. The USB charging ports by the bedside didn't work. Definitely wouldn't choose this hotel again, unfortunately.
The hotel was very nice! The staff treat you like family, the food they had was delicious, the drinks were good, everyone was very kind! I will probably stay here again when I return in a few months! Rooms: The room was cute! Nearby activities: So much to see around here!! Safety: Very safe location! Walkability: Bus stops right outside the doors or you can walk 15 minutes to the nearest train station! Food & drinks: The food and drinks were excellent!
Room was ok, had some good lighting and heating technology. The curtains were damaged and could not be closed and for someone who needs darkness to sleep this wasn't ideal. Location was ok, but further away from a tube station that you'd like. There was a wedding on the Saturday night which went on till the small hours, we were not warned about this.
Do not book here avoid avoid avoid Staff well only one staff every 12 hours working the bar and reception rooms have a bad smell cannot attend to guest need and do not have 24 hour house keeping you need anything wait for the next day ‘after ur check out’ for any assistance which is no use. Staff have a I don’t care attitude, any problems email the manager we cannot help which is pointless if you need assistance there and then. Please if you care about a good night sleep and don’t want to waste your money DO NOT STAY HERE worser than a 3 star stay! I’ve stayed in many hotels with my family and this hotel makes premier inn look like a 5 star!! Rooms: Poor condition rooms and bad plumbing causing rooms to smell every time u use the tap
We stayed in the hotel on Dec 11-15. The elevator is still not working. The room was OK, clean and not too small. The stream in the shower was a little weak, and there was no heating in the shower. The main issue was the heating system We stayed in the coldest week of the year, the first night the heating was not working at all, we asked them to fix it, it didn't help at first, we asked again and again and then it was fixed, but still, the heating system was sloooooow, for the room to be in a normal temperature took around 1 hour The staff helped us when we asked them to, but the service in total was not the best. I won't come back there
I recently stayed at this hotel and was extremely disappointed with my experience. The room was cold and the heating was not working, despite multiple attempts to have it fixed by the front desk. The receptionist was also a liar and did not seem to care about my comfort during my stay. I do not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again.
Lovely hotel, extremely welcoming manager. The rooms are lovely and have a lot of tech features.. I would highly recommend.Rooms: 5/5
