The Valentine’s Day dinner was alright. Maybe everywhere is crowded and expensive. The atmosphere is noisy but I could feel the staff are trying to be nice as possible. Food was alright, some of it too salty, oily and same taste. Appreciate the dessert tastes the best. Only been here once so I can only comment on this dinner . Maybe £85 person can get a better experience in normal days. This time disappointed me a bit but looking forward for a better experience!
Flawless, worthy of a Michelin Star. Taster menu was fantastic, and so glad we decided to have this, beautiful decor, excellent service and staff so friendly and attentive. Highly recommend and will definitely visit again. 5*
We went here for Sunday Roast. Only thing I have to say is the pork roast crackling is too salty for my liking even though it does say it is sea salt crackling. The pannacotta with sorbet however is amazing!Food: 4/5
The Christmas meal was beautifully cooked with lovely attention to detail. The service was fantastic too. The highlights of the meal were the turkey main dish and the dessert.
We were staying off grid in a cabin nearby and had a brilliantly luxury evening here as a treat. The menu was phenomenal, making it very difficult to choose but we weren’t disappointed when our food arrived as it the dishes were executed perfectly and more than justify the price. The wine was delicious and reasonable in equal measure to go with our food. Staff and atmosphere also great, real gem if you’re visiting the area.
Attractive bar and restaurant, the outdoor terrace is screened off from the road. You can eat and drink outside with your dog who is also allowed at the bar but not restaurant. The staff were friendly when booking, on arrival and throughout the meal. Nice wooden furniture inside, smart bar and everything spotlessly clean. The menu had a fairly wide choice, there was a menu of local food called the Norfolk menu which I looked the look of but sadly this is only available if the whole table chooses the same which isn't likely on a table of eight. This is quite an expensive restaurant, budget £60 for three courses. It was one of the best meals I've ever had. My own food was wonderful and I tried other people's too, nicely presented and outstandingly tasty. Good wine list and well kept beer also. An absolute treat which I will long remember.
Service good but very disappointed with the portion size and price. When mine arrived the Sweetcorn was burnt and it took me about 5 minutes to eat my main as the portion size was terrible. Well over priced. My partner also ordered the fillet beef. When arrived she had two pieces of meat on top of her veg for £40?. I left this place feeling hungry and when you are paying £40 for each meal this shouldn't be the case.
This is possibly the best meal I have had. We have eaten in some really good restaurants around the world and cannot believe. The incredible flavours of this meal and what a presentation great staff complements to the chef. Will definitely be booking againFood: 5/5
Superb meal for my daughter and myself for her birthday. The staff were great although the restaurant was very busy and the staff were a bit pushed which meant we did have to wait a little for table clearance between courses. Overall very polite and friendly staff. The ambiance was good and venue attractive with clean toilets. Will go again.
A fabulous tasty 3 course meal Really great, prompt service with a smile and reasonable prices. Definitely would go again. A buzzing atmosphere on an Easter Sunday afternoon Food: 5/5
