Brilliant place. There is a huge selection of craft beers on tap to satisfy every taste, brewed by themselves at a local brewery. We ate lunch and had the Chickpea, Mushroom & Halloumi Burger; it was an excellent and tasty burger and so were all the trimmings it came with; top marks to the cooking. The pub itself is roomy and clean and the barman/waiter was polite, knowledgeable, and friendly. Would definitely recommend should you be visiting Cheltenham city centre.
A great warm setting to enjoy a few drinks and/or food. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly and reassuring when I asked about my severe nut allergy. We ordered several dishes from the menu to share and we enjoyed all of them. In particular the beef shin and chicken, the latter topped with crispy chicken skin; which was so good. Would definitely frequent again and recommend to friends and family.
Lovely court yard garden and an amazing selection of artisan beers. The taps are cool too - I like having beer served by a trowel ;p
Really great bar. Some beautiful beers on tap including including plenty of sour beers which are favourites of mine. The staff are very knowledgeable but that’s to be expected in a bar like that. Really clean inside, strange layout but it must have been a house before. Lovely external area at the back but 3 of the 4 heaters were either off or broken which wasn’t great In the cold weather.
One of the best beer bars in Cheltenham. Great selection of their own beers on tap plus superb guest beers from all over the world. And food is pretty good as well! Not your typical beers so prepare yourself for something different!
I've been to Wild Beer many times since it opened a few years ago. A great selection of beers, and it's good to do the selection of beers where you get 5 colours poker chips to select different drinks. The small plates are really nice and a few years ago I went to the downstairs restaurant and the food was great. The atmosphere is always good, and the decor is really nice.
A great selection of craft beers and for drinks only I would say a great place to visit. We however had Sunday roast here and it was not much to shout home about. I had the beef and although presentation was nice the food didn't really deliver much oomph. The meat portion was more akin to beef carpaccio than a hearty roast
Great beer selection and nice atmosphere with seating inside and outside
Excellent and exceptional beers!! Food, not so much.... I would expect the food to match the quality of the beer, the cool and cozy ambiance, and the exceptional service. Needs work on the food! Dry ribs, tiny over cooked scallops, dry sausages, poutine fries tasted like frozen chips... Will come back for the beer!
Fantastic steak with some delicious craft ale. Staff very welcoming and knowledgeable, offering a few ale samples so I could decide. Cosy, quirky atmosphere in an interesting building. Will definitely be going back.
