Fantastic sports bar. Tasty, good priced full English breakfast served by Amy. Grrrrrrreat choice of drinks. Great atmosphere.
I dont usually come in here but by chance I noticed it was the same menu as another pub i had visited recently which had amazing chicken wings on offer. I am fussy about wings and these guys cook them exactly how I like them. Loads of drink on offer and plenty of screens for the football bar staff seemed friendly and the service was nice and quick. Will definitely be back for more wings! Came back for more wings and just as good! 12/10/22
Great venue, really stepped up in the last seven months. Sam and Amy are great always chatty and friendly when i'm propping up the bar!
Great sports bar, with good beer and food. Bar staff are very friendly. Children welcome too. And in todays economical climate, the bonus is the prices are great too. We popped in with our grandchildren for some food, before a show at the theatre.
I came in a few weeks ago for a few drinks and some food, I was served by the very helpful James, and our delicious pub grub was cooked by Rahal. I had a great time playing pool as well! Would recommend
Came in for lunch, service was absolutely brilliant the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Food was hot and cooked perfectly! Will definitely be returning
Came in tonight to watch the Chelsea game shocking result #lampardout Had a great time and was served by a lovely young man named James, excellent service from him in particular and made my first visit a good one, much appreciated young man.
We’ve been going to the Spectre for a few years now. The new menu is so much better than in the past Cannot fault the service although I would like to see the staff more professionally dressed eg wearing an attractive uniform Prices reasonable
Went for some food here today ... Waited 1hr 10min for 5 small plates. At no point we're we advised there would be a wait. At 50min I asked how long. Be 5-10min I was told but no apology. If they had said initially we would not have placed an order. We went because we had a good experience on our last Cheltenham visit but never again. Staff really didn't seem interested. Even as pouring drinks they we leaning on bar. All in all a 1hr 10 for food is a poor show.
The food here was really tasty, we were served by James, who was friendly and helpful throughout our time here : Thank you James!
