An excellent location. Great Park and centre containing an excellent cafe and good meeting rooms. The cafe has nice coffee, does soya milk and an excellent range of cakes and snacks including veggie sausage baps. Lovely trees and ponds in the park along with bowling greens and kids' play areas. Nice footpath walks around the ponds and along the railway down to the level crossing and the village of Darley Dale with St Helen's Church with ab ancient Yew tree.

Excellent community hub for sports, adult education activities and leisure events. Good venue for local business and careers type events and craft fairs. Great cafe serving good lunches and tea, coffee and cake open to general public. Wheelchair accessible lift. Free carparking. Cafe great for stopping off for refreshments after a walk in the next door Park.

Great space for little ones. Nice café. Also makes a good start /finish for biking the white peak loop.

Lovely community park, used by lots of different people. There are football pitches, bowling green, children's playground, BMX bowl as well as paths around the lakes and open grass areas. It also hosts an independent 5k park run once a month. The cafe is alright, but service is slow when it's busy.
