Great cider place. We also bought delicious jam and an apple cake. Tastings available. Lovely friendly owner. They have won many, many awards!
Lovely little shop selling delicious jams, cakes, cider, cheese with everything locally made and sourced! Helena was very warm and welcoming and passionate about the products. Will definitely be visiting again to try out more of the great range on offer.
Just stopped in the afternoon as we were driving past,lovely range of produce all locally sourced if not made on site,very welcoming owners ,passionate about the products and with good reason,they are DELICIOUS
Our first visit this morning.....certainly won't be our last....just cheese, crackers, and apple cake today, but will be back for more - and scrumpy!
Friendly, well priced with a great selection of things to buy and take away like jams jellies marmalade scrumpy cider & cakes.
Friendly shop keeper and great range of quality local produce. Went there for dorset apple cake came away with cake, ale and the forth best cheddar in the country.
This is a shop, not a pub or a cafe. It specialises in cider and apple cake and has a wide range of cakes, preserves, chutneys and local West of England cheeses. It is more like a specialised deli.
We called in today on the way back to our holiday cottage. Bought cider, cider and apple cake and some yummy vanilla meringues. The lovely landlady instructed us on the shelf life of the cider cake - utterly superfluous information as by this time tomorrow it will all be gone! Thankfully Cedric's is easy to find, as we'll simply have to return in order to sample the very dark chocolate and beer cake!
Went in to buy some of their magnificent home-made cider. Had a 20 minute chat with the very friendly landlord who offered me a taste of the brew before buying. I'll definitely be going back.
