Warm welcome, nice, comfortable, very clean room with big bathroom. Freshly cooked breakfast. Friendly staff. Hotel is central in delightful little old market town. Perfect location to explore surrounding areas. Thank you to all the staff at the George Hotel. Sally
Room was nice and warm and comfortable. Restaurant food dreadful, many dishes not available, and possibly all pre cooked and frozen, even a baked potato was not acceptable, l guess nothing fresh.Staff were good. Amazing that a restaurant closes at 8 pm.Rooms: 5/5
I recently spent a night at the George Hotel, and everything was fantastic. The room and ensuite bathroom were clean and warm, and the room had a cosy feel to it. Perhaps most importantly, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to cater for our rather complicated special diet vegan and various intolerances and really made sure that everyone was happy and got what they needed. Wish everyone was that kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
Visited this hotel with bed and breakfast. Didn't know what to expect. There is no parking on site, but parking is in lidls, or another car park round the corner. Very cheap too. Staff were great, thank you for looking after us. All was catered for. Food was great, so please make sure you dine here. So guys pls come down. Free WiFi which works in the room too. There are local shops which are nice to go and look at too.

Had a wonderful stay. The rooms are much nicer than I had expected. The place is the centre of Crewkerne. Breakfasts were good and the staff were nice. Wifi could be better.Rooms: 5/5

Terrible service at the bar, no interest in serving, then told only have cider, no beer, and no evening food being served for the 3 nights there, even though advertised evening meals.Rooms: 2/5
Called in for a light lunch. The lady at the bar was very busy with bar orders and orders for outside but was still pleasant and cheerful. We had a good value for money lunch and a lovely glass of wine. The hotel doesn't look particularly appealing from outsdie but don't pass it by.
Unhelpful, disobliging staff. Keys difficult to use. Stairs very steep. Bath/shower slippery and dangerous, no bath mat or handhold. No mini fridge in room. TV only worked intermittently. Wi-Fi patchy, kept dropping out. Avoid this place!Rooms: 1/5
