My husband and I came across this little gem whilst looking for somewhere different to have lunch. Absolutely fantastic. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by the very cheery staff who took our drink order whilst we went to our table. Excellent menu options. Everything from light bites to 3 course lunch. All very reasonably priced. I had Welsh rarebit with mushrooms - delicious! The ambience was amazing, I felt so relaxed that I didn't want to leave! Highly recommended!

what a fantastic welcome and food. I had the steak and ale pie it just melted in the mouth my friend had the lamb shank and his was just as succulent.  You could tell how good it was we hardly talked just enjoyed the food.
Thoroughly recommend The White Lion for food,drink,ambience, location and views.

A lovely location a little way up and beyond Old Colwyn in fact truly another world. Wonderful old world charm warm and welcoming with a splendid feast of things to drink and to eat. Incorporated into a walk this Inn is easily reached from Colwyn BAY and its surrounds.

We have been going here for many years. Very old worldly friendly pub / restaurant and lovely  food. Cosy  atmosphere and good value. Tuesday Jazz nights great.

Great beer, great food, lovely staff and well established music evenings. What more could you want? I've been going here for longer than I can remember, learnt to get there early if you want the armchair by the fire!
