My Dad and I showed up on a busy Sunday afternoon without a reservation, most places treat you like a leper if you turn up on a busy day without booking but the Staff at the Plough were great and managed to squeeze us in the pool room.nnWe had the Sunday carvery and enjoyed our food, The service was good and my plate was piled high. The staff were chatty, friendly and accommodating. This pub is no frills, affordable and welcoming. Will definitely visit again.
After a long hiatus, our recent visit to The Plough for a Sunday Carvery was a delightful surprise. Even without a prior reservation, we were warmly accommodated. The staff's friendly service complemented the inviting atmosphere perfectly.nnThe food was truly delightful. The meats were superbly prepared, their flavors attesting to the culinary expertise of the chefs. A dessert, recommended by the chef, was the cherry on top of our meal.nnTo sum up, our unexpected Sunday Carvery at The Plough was a memorable experience. The blend of warm hospitality and scrumptious cuisine truly makes this place worth visiting.
Dropped in for Sunday Lunch and were instantly met with happy, smiling & welcoming staff.nWe enjoyed a gorgeous carvery lunch with a choice of 3 meats & plenty of veggies.nThe roast potatoes were perfect as was the cauliflower cheese!!!nThe veggie option was a nut roast homemade & even though it was delicious it would be nice for an option of a veg pie.nMany thanks to the team & We will definitely be returning!!
Managed to find this place last minute. The food was absolutely beautiful. Everything was tasty and cooked to perfection. We had a lovely welcome from the lady she was very welcoming and made sure we were ok. I’m glad I found this place - we are sure to be back again. Thank you ..
Great food and reasonable prices at the restaurant, we tried the rump steak and beef pie, both of which were delicious and filling. We highly recommend that you try them too!
