Ordered Salt and Pepper chips and they were gorgeous. Very peppery black pepper which is not what S&P chips are normally like but thankfully I love black pepper. The curry sauce was nice albeit a bit slimy No marks deducted though because overall it was a great meal. Shame they don't accept card payments which I find a lot of Chinese takeaways don't for some reason so it meant having to find a cash machine
Always a good welcome here, lovely fish'n'chips and a huge menu of chinese dishes. A take away but has a small seating area if you wish to eat in.
Nice chips. Fish was nice, chunky batter. Pies are Holland's pies. Gravy was delightful interesting. It's got a five spice hint or something to it but we couldn't stop dipping our chips in it! Deep umami flavour with curious seasonings. Nice!
Very good fish and chip takeaway dinner for a family of 5. The cost was just under £35 so I thought that was pretty reasonable . The only fault is that it's cash only but there is a cash machine nearby.
Cash only. Brilliant service. We called ahead to enquire about our dietary requirements, they kindly let us know they'd be happy to cook the chips in a separate fryer. Not only was this fab, but the chips were the best chips I've had from a chippy, ever. They were light and fluffy on the inside, yet had a crispy exterior. Would recommend.
Curry gone down hill, taste was ok but very runny and odd colour, tasted like a home made cheap sauce.
Sorry to post this but your chips have really gone down hill, ordered 2 portions of chips this time and got home expecting them to be amazing and they were terrible, dry, over cooked. I’ve also ordered meals several times over the past few months and they’ve also been terrible unfortunately, maybe you’ve changed hands but you used to be the best around! Sorry but now you’re bottom of the list : Please improve back to your old standards ASAP
Amazing food and absolutely amazing customer service, have been there since i can remember and the food has always been good quality and very tasty. Highly recommended if you are in the area and hungry. Even after moving 15 miles away we still come here for food when we have the chance
All food cooked fresh while you wait, the fish and chips tasted amazing, good sized portion.
As always, excellent food and friendly service. Best fish and chips in the Bay
