Great value for money, lovely staff, best steak pie I've had. Large clean room, tea and coffee facilities. Shower gel,  soap all provided. Lovely stay. Rooms on higher floors would be difficult if you haver difficulties with stairs. No lift at premises. Update, I always wear ear plugs, wasn't until later i discovered wife had a disturbed night due to the town clock chiming every half hour. Our room window was open for ventilation, so perhaps should have closed it. It wasn't a problem for me, but something to consider.

Great Coaching inn rooms, bar, restaurant. Good food good choice piping hot and quick service and reasonable prices . Definitely a place to try.

A very popular cosy pub that offers an excellent service, good food and a variety of drinks. Even though this pub is busy, the service is excellent!

Fantastic food the portion sizes are huge, i couldn't even finish the fish and chips, huge full ramekin of mushy peas which makes a nice change

A great spot to stay. The rooms are basic but clean and comfy. The pub downstairs draws a crowd and has a nice selection of beers. Friendly staff and well worth a night or two or four as we did while visiting the area. We opted for room only and enjoyed our light breakfasts at a nearby coffee shop so cannot speak to the breakfast offering.
