The renovation was definitely needed. Looks so much nicer and is now actually a place you would want to go to rather than avoid at all costs. Typical whetherspoons cheap and cheerful.

Nice and quick place to meet up with people for a drink or food. With the new renovation and the hubs with electric sockets it turned into an even better place to work if you need a computer. The only downside is as it's a pub the food quality can sometimes be on the lower side.

Good choice of food and deserts. The place is very big with a lot sitting space. The service is also fast and the staff is friendly. Located in the city centre, it’s a perfect place to hang out with friends.

Always busy worth great priced foods. Great for couples and groups. Ate here 4 times and would return again

Originally wanted sirloin steak but they didn’t have any, so I ordered lamb shank and guess what?...... it was microwaved. It was so obvious and honestly quite disgusting. It genuinely felt like I was eating yesterday’s roast dinner. I’m not usually the one to complain about food but oh my god the meat smelt very strange and made me feel so sick. Had to order something else but even then, it tasted as if it was reheated. The staff didn’t even know who they were serving, as if they didn’t know where the tables were? Kept going round asking “is this your food?”. Gonna stick to drinks from now on.
