I live on the island and The White Hart is the best place to eat! Lovely and cosy and welcoming! The food is superb, the atmosphere is lovely and the staff are outstanding in their kindness and care of their customers. This place is very popular in the summer season so booking is essential.

My 7th Birthday at the White Hart was amazing. The staff were so attentive nothing was any trouble. Simply the BEST. Thank you x

My wife suffers from a severe salmon allergy. I phoned to ask if they ever served salmon and was told that it is sometimes on the "Specials Board" They said that if I cared to make a reservation they would ensure that no salmon would be cooked or served that evening. How about that for a personal service? Excellent pub, charming hosts and efficient service. The Game Pie was delicious!
