The service is superb! The food is good and the portion is generous. I had my birthday dinner here and the staff prepared a birthday card for me. They also added a candle and happy birthday sign on my dessert. I enjoyed their onion soup soup of the day so much! We also ordered duck nachos starter, sea bass main, sirloin steak main and sticky toffee pudding dessert. I also love their cocktail £10 only!. The view of is also amazing! Highly recommended.
Best food in England so far. Went on sunday and it was fantastic. We had the duck, the duck salad, and bread and hand made butter. All incredible. Service fantastic as well.
We were visiting the Isle of Wight on our anniversary and went to the Duck for a special meal. It couldn’t have been better - lovely service and incredible food. The home-baked bread to start with flavoured butters was delicious and even my sometimes fussy daughter devoured it! Husband loved his prawn dumplings and salmon gnocchi and I went for the confit duck - tender and so rich in flavour. Lovely atmosphere - feels special but not stuffy - staff were lovely with our daughter. Cocktails great too. Highly recommend for a treat if you’re in IoW.
Food was very tasty however the prawn cocktail lacked prawns and Mac & Cheese wasn’t very exciting but the cocktails were fun and puddings creative. Worth a visit.
Absolutely fantastic food.. We shared starters & dessert .nThe Roast beef was exceptionally tasty & so much of it... there was 4 in our party... no one managed to eat it all The sticky toffee pudding was deelish.. Staff were very good. All in all great experience..
