We've just held our wedding ceremony, buffet and disco here upstairs in the Sail Loft on Friday and we don't know how the location, service and communication from the team could have been any better!nnDan & Jen were the leading organisers, but along with our bar team and kitchen team, they delivered a fantastic buffet, provided our guests with super bar service and presented a fabulous cake and sweet display on our behalf.nnWe had access early to setup and afterwards to clear up, personal toilets for our party and access to a beautiful balcony all day long. We were permitted parking for ourselves, our Registrars and our DJ which helped everything run smoothly.nnQuite simply.. the whole experience was very competitively priced, made so easy for us and thoroughly enjoyed by all of those attending.nnThank you Dan, Jen and everyone at The Bargeman’s Rest who played their part to create a magical day for us.nnHighly recommended to anyone in need for a function room as these lovely people know how to deliver and provide support.nnPeter & Jeff

Really nice dishes with good variety, the menu is versatile consists of vegetarian as well as vegan options are available. Value for money. I tried fish pie, steak etc

Fabulous food, great selection, excellent service, everyone so friendly. Lovely place, inside & out.

Can never fault Bargemans.  Always very consistent.  Portion sizes always a plus! It’s great able to book a table now as is often very busy.

Had dinner here on Friday 23rd. Lovely pub on the river with outside seating. Pub was packed.  We found our table and ordered  food at the bar.  Not particularly welcoming,  I appreciate it was busy but still, this was our first visit so a bit of general information regarding ordering  would have been good.  Food was hot, mine was OK but my husbands fish overcooked  and dry.nMusic started.nThe whole place started to empty about 8pm/8.30pm. As there were lots of families with young children.
