So... Pop up food in a sports bar! The chef here certainly knows how to season his food, whether it's the battered Sea Bass Goujons in a Burger with unique 31 fish sauce or the macaroni cheese filled croquets... The Hand made burger patties are without a doubt some of the best I've ever had... The menu is simple and varied, absolutely unique and all prepared / cooked fresh by the one man tate@ 31 food blog , I can see big things for this guy. I'm always put off by cheap ish priced food but I've been proved that going on price alone isn't recommended at all, everything I've ordered over the past few days has been outstanding. Craig the landlord of the bar is one welcoming bloke and has made me feel right at home whilst working away in Bristol, I wish I could take this bar a home with me. Jonathan one of the most friendliest and attentive bar men I've encountered over the years just tops this place off. Also drinks are at a very reasonable price, everything here is on top form, always a good atmosphere and never a spot of trouble, properly love it!
Great atmosphere, nice to have some music but could do with being a touch quieter. Sensible prices too.
Really great pub. Very friendly bar staff. Enjoyed a Saturday afternoon playing dominoes with a pint. lovely pub. Will go back.
Nice chilled place to unwind. Plenty of space and friendly staff. Would recommend the roasts, great value :
Bar staff are nice and have okay prices. Manager is extremely rude, swore at someone for coming to meet their mates 1 minute past the apparent “last entry” which is odd for a pub. Especially as it was completely dead for a Friday night. Would not recommend. Very dirty and not maintained.
Love this boozer. We had a birthday party there after another pub let us down and Craig the manager couldn't have been more helpful to get everything sorted at short notice.
Nice pub but good hearing a thing
Nice building, good event space and friendly staff. Sadly the drink selection is subpar especially on the ale front, drinks slightly overpriced, and the toilets are badly maintained - no soap, no lock on the cubicle door, no toilet paper
Cheapest student pub, music sometimes to loud tho
I visited this pub several weeks ago. The manager is extremely rude and unpleasant. The bar itself is really dirty including glassware. I would recommend avoiding this pub.
