Welcoming friendly bar staff. Relaxed atmosphere with great but unobtrusive music. Super beer, the best during this trip to Bristol. Well worth the steep ascent from the city centre
Lovely backstreet boozer with great ale selection, games to play and a cool, homely vibe. Best pub in the area.
Beer's well kept but they charge £1 for "soda water" that's gone flat and comes from a soda stream bottle in the fridge, so I honestly can't recommend! Cotham Porter Stores round the corner is much friendlier and their soda water is fizzy & free
After a climb up a hill what you want is a cosy, friendly pub with a great beer selection and the Green Man pub is it. Visited this pub and many others on a recent trip to Bristol and this one stood out from the rest. Thanks for being so welcoming :
Best pub in Bristol by a country mile, love it every time I am here and its my go to pub for when I am on my own - always play films and can have a chat with the barman. Not to mention free curry on a monday, curry is actually banging too!
Lovely little pub, good selection of booze on tap, geared more towards ale drinkers but great little place to sit and have a drink. Live music some nights too.
Great bar staff gave me a choice of lagers to try and taste! top trumps a nice touch ..dont get Raheem Stirling. The soda water was almost too fizzy : GREAT PUB

Have to agree with previous reviews. I don't usually order soda water at the pub, but after 17 pints of the finest beers and ales available to punters in Bristol, I decided that a soda water would benefit me and those others who had put up with me for the last 6 hours. Good lord. I hadn't expected that restorative kick to be so impactful! Where on earth does this pub source it's soda water from?
A lovely little it’s small! pub with a great selection of gin as well as local draft beer and cider. Not much space inside but that’s one of the reasons it’s so nice. Great staff to.
