As a freshly turned 18 yr old, I didn't know much about what I was looking for. Employees were very friendly and were able to identify whiskeys that matched my price range and the flavours I was looking for with ease. They all know what they're talking about and generally really helpful, I just hope my mum likes her Christmas present. 10/10 will be shopping here again.
What can I say... what an experience! Long story cut very short we found ourselves outside this shop on the way to Snowhill Station, and just wow! The American if not, convincingly so gentleman was endearing and knowledgeable. Oct 2022 and I ended up buying a once in a lifetime present in readiness for September 2023. Would most definitely recommend BTW they don't just sell Whiskey/Whisky!!!!!
Found this little whisky shop and was really impressed. The assistant was really knowledgeable and we had a long conversation about how I could find whiskeys that I may enjoy. The also have a membership programme and a whisky tasting experience that I am looking forward too. Definitely recommended for fellow Whiskateers.

Wanted to purchase some whiskey as a birthday gift, and was met with overwhelming knowledge, clear and useful advice, and total patience. Great shop!
Helpful staff and a good range of whisky, most of which is available to try, so don't be afraid to ask. They have several exclusive bottlings too, some of which are quite special. I often end up in here if shopping for a gift. The prices are a little higher than you might pay online, but I'm always happy to pay for good service.
A lovely store with a huge selection. But the prices are high - I much prefer to buy in a store than online, but there is a limit to the premium I can justify for this - especially when I know exactly what I want. In this case a bottle of bourbon which was 24% cheaper at Harvey Nichs - not known for their keen pricing!
Buyer be ware .....make sure you get the whisky you've paid for and not a different year! I almost paid £78 for a £40 bottle, thankfully we spotted the mistake went back and got the one we'd paid for....no apology given. A bit disappointed as the service had been great until then, could've been a genuine mistake but from Whisky experts?!.... I'll let you decide.
