New owners have done wonders with this pub, our Sunday lunch was delicious, well priced and we experienced great service. It's also been beautifully renovated since I was last here some years ago. Excellent overall!
Great location small but atmospheric back garden. Staff pleasant and attentive when required. Have eaten there in the past, Sunday roast very good.
We were delighted to see the changes made since lock down. The staff were more than helpful, and the menu has changed for the better. We went early evening and had Sea Bass on a crab and petit pois Risotto, delicious! The presentation and taste was high class.
What a breath of fresh air. Straight into the garden, minimum rona nonsense, lovely local beer, honest proper food. Our Eight Bells replacement, proper village pub at last.
Absolutely lovely, staff really friendly and helpful and food was delicious!
Had a lovely meal here on Saturday evening. Food was delicious and the staff so very friendly welcoming and helpful. Looking forward to a return visit very soon
The garden area is fantastic and food really lovely spoilt for choice. Staff are fabulous really attentive and cheerful and can’t do enough for you makes you feel very welcome best pub in the area by far.
The best pub in Eastbourne by a long way. Great ambience, friendly and attentive staff, lovely food!
Lovely atmosphere and fantastic service from friendly staff. Food is brilliant too.
Good food, quite pricey. Not too much atmosphere inside.
