Pleasant local pub. Prices reasonable in this day and age and friendly and efficient staff. Good car parking and the food is good if not Michelin starred. Good range of beers and sports on TV if you like that, also a pool table. A garden to sit when the weather is fine. Good pub for locals and visitors.
Although a regular visitor for a beer i have not sampled the food. Went today with my son,daughter in law and 22 month old grandson. We all ate and it was fabulous. Staff were so good with my grandson and food,service and atmosphere was first class. Highly recommend it.

Absolutely amazing experience. 5 stars from the moment I walked in. The staff are extremely professional and friendly. The food is to die for. Had the Cajun prawns and chicken Tikka skewers for appetizers which were absolutely amazing. For my main I had the scampi and chips which was so delicious. Extremely happy to have stumbled upon this gem.

Best pub in Polegate by far, great selection on tap, hot food until 3pm, loads of events both day and night throughout the week. Traditional style decor with a refined red finish. Couldn't pick a better place for a pint and a bite to eat
