Friendly service and nice food & cocktails but avoid the chicken wings in nacho cheese! Their cocktails are generally quite tasty with a lot of different varieties. Some taste nice, others not so much, but personal preference! They've got some new summer drinks which I'd recommend. Plus 2-4-1 cocktails, you need to order two of the same at the same time to get the offer. The offer is handy because individual cocktail prices are on the high side. You can order either at the bar or use their app to have it come to you. Overall nice atmosphere with reasonable food and drinks
Amazing service. Our server Chloe Was absolutely amazing. She took information about our preferences and dislikes. I came with a group for a friends birthday and Chloe was just so friendly. I look forward to retuning to The Slug and a Lettuce Worthing. She was efficient and service was so fast and extremely happy! 5 stars, would absolutely recommend.
When I walked in I was a bit unsure as it was so quiet but that is obviously because it’s Worthing’s best kept secret. Natasha and her colleague have been amazing! So attentive. Offers of regular top ups which I’ve NEVER been offered before at bottomless brunches. It’s been a fab experience and great value. Really good food.
Amazing afternoon tea with cocktails celebrating our daughter's 18th birthday . Dan and darryl looked after us so well they were very friendly and made our daughter's day that extra bit special even coming out with our cocktails singing happy birthday with a candle sparkler .thank you guys can't wait to come back xx
The food does not represent the menu. One slider cut into quarters not four sliders as shown on menu, bread was very dry and they had very little filling. Chicken wings were rock solid, quite obviously frozen and again did not look how they were shown on the menu. Sticks of garlic bread not slices, however these were nice. Calamari and onion rings were tasty. Staff were friendly and polite, service was fast. In hindsight should have sent food back and gone somewhere else. Good venue for cocktails, not so much for food.
me and my friend booked a bottomless brunch, and as soon as we got here we were made to feel so special in a beautifully decorated booth, lots of mimosas served to us by our amazing server, Manny! and the food was SO good! literally couldn’t ask for a better experience! thank you so much :
Visited slug and lettuce for a cute little mother and daughter date! Zoe served us and was so friendly and polite. Can’t fault her in any way. She went above and beyond to make us feel like valued customers. My mum has had a tough time recently and the service she received really did cheer her up. Plus the cocktails Zoe made us were lovely! Thanks Zoe for putting a smile on our faces. Every bar needs a Zoe! :
Had a great time at Slug and lettuce for our Christmas party. We were served by Casey, Darryl, Justine and Freya and everything was really good. We were served amazing food and weren't left waiting at all and we checked up on regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. The 3 course menu is really good value and left is all very well fed. 2 for 1 cocktails went down a treat as well; Thankyou so much
My mum and I went here for lunch today 20th Dec, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The food was tasty, lovely chilled atmosphere and the service was exceptional friendly and considerate. My mum has a cochlear implant for hearing and was struggling to hear, Manni was such a gentleman, he brought our drinks over to the table and asked if my mum wanted the music turned down it generally wasn't that loud but she was struggling to hear because of the back ground noise, he turned it down and we enjoyed a lunch where she could enjoy our conversation. It was such a kind gesture that went a long way, thank you Manni, and team.
Very impressed with this place,looks great,quirky decor,and all the staff are absolutely brilliant. Good to see smiley,polite dedicated staff in an age of generally poor customer service. Keep it up
