Staff are very welcoming and attentive, nothing is too much trouble. The food is outstanding and so much choice. Not just fish and chip based meals here.

Just as good as when it was Harry's. The food isn't cheap but is good value, you get what you pay for. The service is great and they've renovated the period decor really well. Plenty of parking.

I love calling in to here whenever we are in the area. As we are also customers of the original Whaler chip shop we were overjoyed to see the quality restoration of the previously very unloved-looking derelict but iconic Harry Ramsdens site. From our first stop we were never disappointed, there is something special about "proper fish & chips" although I prefer them on a plate nowadays rather than paper because the batter is still crunchy. Whaler haddock & chips, well worth starving yourself for!

Excellent value food in a smart but traditional setting. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

Very nice place, comfortable. Great coffee. Would have been five stars if they had sold a range of hot sandwiches. Only cheese on toast in that category.
