Food was nice, but cleanliness and customer service let it downnnWe visited earlier for some food and overall it was a mixed experience. The food itself was actually nice for the price — fresh, tasty, and it came out fairly quickly, so no complaints there.nnWhat let the place down was everything else around it. We first sat inside and tried to use the QR code on the table to order, but it asked for a table number and there didn’t seem to be one on our table or any of the others, which made the whole thing feel a bit pointless. The music inside was also extremely loud, especially where we first sat under a speaker, so we ended up moving outside.nnCleanliness was another issue. The bench inside had muck on it, and the menus had greasy food marks on them. Outside, the table we sat at still had several empty glasses left on it and food on the floor, including pizza crusts, which our dog managed to get hold of. It just didn’t feel like the area had been properly checked or cleaned.nnThe barmaid did serve us straight away, which was good, and the food didn’t take long. But when our food was brought out, nobody apologised for the dirty table, cleared the glasses, or wiped the table down. We also weren’t asked if we wanted any condiments, so we had to go and ask ourselves. It just felt like the customer service was lacking and not very personable.
Travelling from Manchester to watch our team play guiseley with my husband and we needed a little pitstop for some food.nnThe place was very busy and every table was taken or reserved. We almost didn’t stay but we were approached by the lovely manageress who swiftly organised us a table whilst we were served at the bar.nnWe learnt her name was sarah as she explained they had a new menu and recommended the rice bowls. We proceeded to order a pulled beef and a grilled chicken one and was tempted with a side of cheesy garlic bread.nnFood arrived in about 15 minutes, piping hot and smelling delicious. To say it was very busy we were really impressed with the speed.nnA fantastic recommendation from sarah and also excellent service from her, checking in on us without being obtrusive.nnWe’re not from the area but we learnt that this pub is a big chain and we have one close to where we live, so at least we know where to get these rice bowls from. Failing that, if we’re ever in Guiseley again we will certainly be paying this pub a visit again.
Staff are amazing! Liv is a credit to your company!nFood is amazing, drinks are very well priced and the staff are brilliant! Liv is always keen to help and always has a smile on her face always willing to go that extra mile for the customer. Makes the experience so much better, thank you Liv!
Visited this pub recently with husband to meet friends for meals early evening before a theatre event.nPlenty of indoor seating and outdoor seating area .nBar staff friendly and accommodating.nFood and drinks OK and at the average prices.nIt was Very noisy and shouty inside, alot of young people mainly young males were playing pool, tried to find a quieter spot but somewhat difficult, we sat in the conservatory area, slightly quieter.nWe weren't too impressed, bit too noisy..nPossibly visit again as our friends go there occasionally for a meal before a social event.
Visited recently and had the most wonderful time , great atmosphere and such friendly staff would definitely come again I had the steak and Guinness pie that was brillant and my wife had the lasagne very very lovely and both fair priced , we had a very lovely young lady named Liv serve us she was brillant so attentive and kind, had us both laughing the whole time definitely an amazing asset to the team. Would definitely visit again
