Dog friendly bistro pub, with nice views of their own lake. Great menu and friendly staff. Lovely place. This is also the place to hire Segway for short trip, although I'm not sure both are linked. Good rest rooms and play area for kids

The Weir is in a wonderful location in that it can be accessed by car or if walking the canal or Widemouth. It has a really welcoming atmosphere and contemporary vibe. Dog friendly one end, roaring fire and cosy centre piece on chilly days and panoramic windows overlooking the lake. The food nods towatds healthy, home cooking offering a yummy varied menu. This place has evolved and grown into a much loved destination and retreat for walkers, locals and holidaymakers.

Great place for coffee, snacks and bigger meals. Child and dog friendly. Comfy sofas, nice views, good coffee. Very helpful and friendly staff. Our favourite venue for a meet up.

Very good food and atmosphere , need to watch price increases otherwise local trade will drop.
