The food is lovely but for the price range you can find better. The service leaves alot to be desired, frankly it is abysmal. We did not once have a waiter/waitress come to the table without having to be flagged down. With better service this would be a better rating. It does also feel a touch dated inside and no drinks menu unless requested. Altogether leaving the management questionable.

There are two separate reviews that should be left here. Went there twice for a business dinner and I found the service very good, the craft beer excellent, but I found menu dishes interesting but a bit too expensive. I would recommend to go there for Saturday lunch (booking in advance is required), they have a special menu that is way cheaper. Terrific food and service is still amazing. Don't forget your dessert. Their banoffee pie is the best I've ever had.

Really disappointing visit. Our group of 8 had very slow service and food was mediocre. Given the high prices, I would have expected much better. Meat from pork belly was dry, gravy overly salty and dumplings very greasy. Meal for two including drinks was around £90! We’ve had much nicer dining experiences for a third of that price. Really disappointing and won’t be returning in a hurry.

This is the 2nd time we have been here. Waited over 30 minutes for a drink, the waitress that was serving drinks had obviously not heard of a tray as she could only carry 2 at a time. Food is above average for the price of the dishes. I personally believe that the menu leaves a lot to be desired (still confused about mixed olives in the nibbles, as there only seems to be one sort of olive, not a variety). After complaining about time for drinks to arrive service improved a bit.

Good food and service, not cheap but you get what you pay for. Always worth trying the beers as well. 🍺 🍺
