What a delight. My wife and I don't often get out for lunch midweek but half term gave us the opportunity. The Wee Restaurant was so recommended by my son that he'd even given us a gift of some vouchers to ensure we didn't miss out. Great food, fantastic service and a wonderful atmosphere. Cannot recommend highly enough.
Absolutely delicious! What a fantastic find. Delicious scallops and venison. My partner had pork shoulder which was tastier than some of the best steaks. We normally take pictures but we were hungry and the food looked too good to wait. Thank you for a great evening.
Went early because I knew that it would be popular later on not disappointed all very tasty and well presented.
I had very enjoyable evening there with my friends when visiting Edinburgh last weekend. Amazing food! Venison cooked to perfection and onion soup to die for! Waitress Siobhan really knew her stuff and had great recommendations, great service overall attentive but not bothersome. I highly recommend this place!
The food was very good as well as the service. But as in many other Edinburgh restaurants there is no excuse for including average/bad wines as an offer to pair with such good food.
The staff was extremely nice, diverse wine list we had a nice Cab from S Africa, service was a great pace, nice discussion with the owner, the lamb with risotto was delicious, and the desserts wonderful. I could just go back for desserts.
Good experience with high quality service, delicious food and splendid wine menu.
Excellent meal, I would definitely recommend it.
