Visited Sunday, early May Bank Holiday weekend. Lovely in the sun, water was provided for our dogs. Had food and drink - expensive for us (fish and chips £12.99) - but food was hot and gorgeous. Delivered to outside table. Friendly staff, lovely relaxing atmosphere in the garden. Inside looked like a lovely place for an 'occasion' meal (I'm thinking wedding anniversary, that type of thing).

Amazing service, truly exceptional in the way they greet customers warmly and serve effectively. Virtually no wait for a drink at the crowded bar - everyone had been served but were simply hanging around chatting. The food is also lovely.

It’s a lovely place however we walked in and stood a while with numerous staff who look like they didn’t want to be there walking past us, before anyone made eye contact with us. Felt somewhat forgotten about once seated, drinks and food took an extremely long time to come out and when asking how long the wait would be got quite a sharp response. My 3 year old nieces child portion food was double the size of my linguine. Food was alright, bit over priced for the service and quality. A little disappointing and wouldn’t harm the staff to smile a bit more perhaps?

Lovely food. Unfortunately we were at the back and felt forgotten. The tables around us seemed to have great attentive service. We didn't and when some did come to the table it was a different person each time.

Massively overrated for me; the food is average at best. The staff are friendly enough, but that doesn’t compensate for bland, tasteless food and small portions. In my humble opinion, there’s much better places to eat in the local area than here. Shame, as this used to be one of the better ‘Gastropubs’ in the Milton Keynes area.
