Really enjoyed the meal, great service. Wasn't very busy at the time of our visit. My friend had a problem with a biscuit which s a fishing for. The staff were very helpful and concerned, but he was fine. I really enjoyed the ambiance and the photos of all the trains and the models of trains above the bar which was close to our table. We had a great view of the crossing and I hoped to see a train go by. Unfortunately it wasn't meant to be. The meal was delicious and served quickly. We both chose chilli con carne with cheese covered nachos. But there was a varied choice to choose from the lunch menu. The step was quite steep getting into the station tavern. There was plenty of car parking which was a gravel surface.
We were let down due to arriving late by a different pub. Whilst looking around for Sunday lunches I came across this little gem. Nice old English pub. Basic traditional menu. Pricing is clear. Welcoming and Lovely customer service. I enjoyed their roast it was just right. Everything was clean. Parking available. We would gladly visit again.
Nice pub near the station. Good choice of pub food. Friendly staff and great chips. Warning... omelette with cheese literally has cheese melted in top see photo.Food: 4/5
We only ever go here for breakfast, so can't comment on the whole menu. However, you get a really good breakfast, great service and a welcoming smile every time you visit. Wheelchair accessibility: A ramp at the front door, which my father-in-law uses for his walker.
Only had a swift beer. A busy friendly pub with good selection of drinks. Serves food as well but we did not try the food.Service: 4/5
Great find doesn't look to appealing from exterior & couldn't see any breakfast advertising but the inside is lovely, good decor & furnishings, very friendly amiable staff & good breakfast menu, small breakfast is still a bit too big for OAPs or small appetites and would prefer beans served in separate bowl but all delicious nonetheless look forward to returning. Some parking on site. Wheelchair accessibility: Maybe a bit bumpy from gravel carpark but there is a small ramp for ease of entry & reasonable space inside to manoeuvre
Disco bingo brilliant night, nice little pub served a decent pint, didn't have food but a friend did it looked decent.Service: 5/5
We live near to the Station, and had dinner here with family to celebrate a birthday. There were 20 of us. We had pre-ordered our food, which was great. The staff were terrific, friendly and really helpful. Meals included Lasagne, Grilled Salmon, Chicken New Yorker with dessert and of course Doom Bar . Great job and recommended.
We attended an event in the Courtyard at rear of the pub,Kevin and his crew were brilliant, definitely recommend a visit.Food: 5/5
