As always every time me and my partner go food is fresh cooked to order and hot. Prices are very reasonable compared to other fish n chip restaurants I have visited. Staff are always friendly and the place is usually quite full on weekends. Sometimes there can be a bit of a wait for the restaurant especially during school holidays but well worth the wait. If you prefer not to wait the also have a take away section.

This is a bog standard fish n chip restaurant with good food and excellent service. It has a carry out facility next door which is very popular. Would recommend stripped haddock chips peas tea bread and butter. Wine is available + sweets. SENIORS ARE WELCOME. With reduced charges applying. It has recently been refurbished with new tables chairs and decor. Highly recommended £11 per senior couple vg.

Hands down the best fish and chips in North Shields. Don't go anywhere else. At peak times there is a queue but that merely adds to your confidence that this is the best fish and chips going. Nothing that they don't do. Highly recommended. Portion size is ridiculous and unless you are extremely hungry you will not need to order large fish. Regular is plenty.

Been living in the UK for 9 years and this is my favorite fish and chips. Been to award winning places around the UK but I prefer The Waterfront. Last week I ordered two large fish and chips and one large mushy peas. Fed a family of four (two small kids) for less than it would cost to go to a fast food chain. We come about once a year as we pass through the area. Twice we went elsewhere to try something different. Don't know why, not that the other places are bad, but just not as good. When I think of great fish and chips is, I always think of this place. The fish fillet is very thick and the batter is very crispy. Service is friendly and price is low. Place is never empty. Can't ask for anything more.

Delicious fish n chips and good size portions. Prices are reasonable with a good menu. Sit in restaurant and separate take away. Business recently refurbished and very nice. Waitress service excellent. Prices are very reasonable....Would definitely recommend a visit.
