Have eaten here a couple of times now and thoroughly enjoyed the food! The bread is excellent, starters inventive and have gone for fish mains, which have been perfectly cooked. A lovely place to eat

I've been to Staith House twice now, and had excellent food both times. Relaxed and friendly staff, great sea food range, not too pricey. Would be five stars, but for two things: 1. As a "gastropub", their choice of beers is very limited and disappointing, more like a standard restaurant offer. 2. I had a cheese board that was just OK. 3 good cheeses, but two of them were very similar, and the (good but runny) apple jelly should have been in a pot, rather than just poured on the plate. Well worth a visit.

It's easy to see why this lovely little pub has won so many awards (including a Michelin Bib Gourmand award) - it's been the best Sunday roast we've had to date! The 'Yorkies' are almost as big as your head. The beef and lamb were both tender and cooked perfectly. And the veggies are a step ahead of the competition. There's also a specific vegetarian menu if needed. Service was friendly and efficient, and I really appreciated being asked how we wanted the meat. Given how busy they get for Sunday lunch (customers were being turned away), I'd certainly recommend making a booking. Even being fully booked, there was still ample parking on site when we arrived. There's no specific kids menu, but they do a half serve of the roast if you're dragging any little ones along (and it was still probably big enough for a lot of adults). Unfortunately we were only passing through, but if I'm ever back in the area, I'll definitely be back for a second helping!

I can't speak highly enough of this excellent gastro style pub. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, fantastic local ales and food. Very reasonably priced for the award winning standard of food that is served.
