Beautiful old pub. You can sit there happily admiring the architecture for a surprisingly long time. Their real ale is kept very well with some sensible and varied choices. The food is excellent. What more can I say? Go.
Beautiful English pub with stylish wooden interior, good selection of beer and good pub food. I live far away, but a great mate lives nearby and I love meeting him here. Just a really nice British pub.
My favorite place. The food is exceptional and the service and staff are as well. The space is beautiful and spacious, the Washington is a perfect mix of old and new.
I really want to love this pub. The interior is beautiful, the staff are fine and have adapted well to Covid. Sadly the drink and food don’t quite match. The Sunday lunch is okay, but far from great, we couldn’t cut through the potatoes. Real failing for me is the beer. Used to be decent, but now is a fairly woeful selection.
One of my favourite pubs in London. Was so happy it reopened and couldn't wait to meet up with my friends there again. Gorgeous and airy, lovely food and a warm welcome. The landlady is a hoot as well, she always remembers me and we always have a laugh. Top marks for a fab pub.
Hello. I booked a table of 3 for Saturday afternoon and had a great experience. The staff were wonderful and the food was really good. None-stressful social distancing and safety measures in place that were well thought out and respectful. Thanks so much and see you soon. All the best.
Had a great time, the pub was beautifully decorated for Christmas and the staff were very aware of COVID safety procedures.
