Beautiful interior matched by friendly first class service. They accommodated our walking in on a Saturday night without a table booking and found room for us cheerfully. Great food, better than the usual pub menu. Love that dogs are made welcome, being provided with their own water bowl.Food: 4/5
My favorite pub in London, hands down. Three times in London, always make a point to stop by here. Beautiful aesthetics, clean bathrooms, good food & drink, friendly staff, and fun trivia nights.Food: 5/5
Beautiful authentic pub with a great athmosphere! My mate and I were staying in Swiss Cottage and happened to end up in this pub, located in a lovely neighbourhood. The next evening we also watched the European Cup final here and met the owner and her partner, great people! 100% highly recommended to drop by if you are in the area : we will definitely do so next time we are in London!
Really like the warm atmosphere of the Washington and it's just enough off the beaten path to be a true neighborhood pub. We've eaten four meals here and 3 out of four were excellent. The Sunday Roast is one of the best in London - roast beef perfectly cooked, all the extras very good. Another meal had here, the Chicken Milanese, lovely. Where they didn't as well? Steak & Ale pie: the crust was like a slab of concrete. TBH would have sent it back couldn't pierce it with a knife but as always the Washington was so packed & busy it was too hard to get the attention of the staffer. Putting the hockey puck to the side, the rest was very good.
Lovely evening at the Washington this Sunday. We ate a variety of the roasts, all were most enjoyable. The pubs atmosphere is lovely! Big thank you to Vincent for delivering amazing service throughout the meal making the experience that much more enjoyable. Will definitely be returning!Food: 5/5
A fantastic venue to hold a party! It's a lovely private room, the communication organising this was great. We ordered some buffet food the premium set, 25 for 60 people, supplied most people with some nibbles which was really delicious, and the staff were lovely!! We were allowed to decorate and play our own music, and it really personalised our event. I would thoroughly recommend booking here. Apart from that, the only draw backs are that it's down a flight of stairs so if you have any disabled attendees take that into consideration, and it would have been nice to have an extra bar staff who could support when the bar was busy and clear away glasses in-between. Was also warm at first, but I think they must have turned on the aircon. I'd happily book again or suggest it to others. Thanks for giving me a lovely evening to remember.
Went for a Sunday roast, food slightly small and overcooked. But generally, a good meal. The staff were friendly, just took awhile for drinks to arrive after being ordered despite it being relatively quiet. Great vibe to the place, would happily go back.
Nice pub, spacious, good service. Little pricey. Good food, but salt put on my fish and chips when served, so if you don't like salt mention it. Spoiled it for me.
A great Victorianesque pub tucked away between Belsize Park and Primrose Hill. A fine range of beers from both the keg and cask. This is a card only place, just a word of warning. A lovely looking bespoke menu with a wide variety of dishes on offer. The staff are lovely and proficient, most importantly with a smile!! I have enjoyed a lovely pint and love all the etched glass. A great pub, thank you.
What a night!!!!! We had a super tasty ribeye steak and whitout any exaggeration, one of the best we had here around. But what made a significant difference, was Lewis, our awesome waiter. He gave us the best recommendation and he was very attentive, polite and professional. And the vibe… just amazing!!! We had a very beautiful experience and we will be back very often. Thank you !! Highly recommended
