Inside you will find roaring log fires, a unique dining room and comfy armchairs to while away the afternoon.

Story

Our traditional pub building has been stylishly refurbished to make it the perfect place to find a cosy corner and take time out whilst enjoying some of our Chefs seasonal dishes and our great selection of wines, ales and lagers.

Nice restaurant. Great menu choices. Food delicious, lovely and hot. Staff friendly. Hot drink and chocs for pudding was divine, we couldn't finish them all!! Recommended.

Great food but appalling service. We were seated 15 minutes late, my daughters side plate was filthy, my seat was wobbly, it took them 20 minutes to take our empty starter plates away, I ordered a drink 3 times from 2 different people before it came to me 15 minutes after I had originally ordered it. The waiter dropped the crumble onto the table and my mother. I ordered the fondant for pudding and I received the orange bomb. When the waiter realized his mistake, he swore loudly in front of the whole table, including our 5 year old daughter. I was not impressed and I will not be returning which is a shame as it has a warm and inviting atmosphere and the food is nice. I would encourage that they obtain blinds for the windows as the 2 times I have been in there, I have been blinded by the sun as it was setting.

Food not as good as usual. The lemon combined with jus made the Chicken had a fairy liquid like taste. Service also slower and a customer was complaining when we first arrived.

The highlight of the visit was the fact that they have a vegan menu! And the food was very nice! Both vegan and not vegan. Friendly and great service. Will definetely go there again.
