Nice pub with great food and selection of beers. one of my regular hangs out when in town.
We went to watch the football and there were a few screens to choose from, food is ordered at the bar and portions were potential with good quality. Sadly they stopped offering food before we got to dessert about 8pm which was a shame, but overall a good evening.
A traditional british pub as part of the Fullers family. Dave is a brilliant and welcoming land lord making every feel welcome. a good outside space with some seating undercover. they have a big outside events area which can be hired for special occasions. They show major sporting events when on which brings together a brilliant sense of community.
We hired the external cabin for an afternoon 40th birthday celebration and were pleasantly surprised at what this great venue offers! Despite not having any closed doors the venue is kept cosy and warm by several electric and gas heaters which really do help to create a nice atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and helpful and promptly replaced the gas cylinder when it ran empty. We ordered pizzas from the menu which were all delicious and went down well with guests. Overall this is a great place to host a private party and I will be recommending to friends!
Poor service, rude staff, drinks were ridiculously over-priced and the portions sizes are tiny compared to what you pay. Total rip off and I wouldn’t bother!
