Friendly enough place when I called in it was a Tuesday afternoon so very quiet service was quick not a fussy sort of pub you get what it says on the tin so to speak, genuine people basic amenities. Overall impression not a bad place for a nice quiet pint.Service: 5/5

It's been done out since last visit, pre covid. Sells mcewans best scotch on draft, a blast from the past. Good beer, lager selection. It was busy, so sat outside enjoying the views of the Big River.
Having grown up in Bill Quay it's been so lovely to see The Wardley Pub and The Village shop situated at the side of the pub, near the roundabout thrive with its customers. You can stop off for a treat and a coffee at the shop and then later on in the day after a nice walk down the river you can pop in for a pint or glass of wine! Perfect on a sunny day.
Lush little cosy place to sit after a walk down the river. Warm in winter with a open fire and cool in the summer with seating outside. Good music live and juke box, football the lot.Service: 5/5
