Been going here mainly on a Friday and Saturday for a meal and drink with the Mrs and my son, it’s a great place for football too and kitted out for all supporters flag wise. Staff always happy and friendly, even with the recent take over with a new landlady, all has been seamless. The food arrives very quickly even when very busy, and I can never fault it’s quality, my family agree too. Had a recent lovely Friday Karaoke night there, really a safe and welcoming venue. Huge garden with TV, tables chairs etc for smokers too. 5 Stars from us every time.
We had a main and dessert with drinks. The new general manager, Alison, was brilliant as we ordered dessert 15 minutes after the kitchen shut and the staff made the extra effort to make our dessert which was much appreciated. The staff were friendly and helpful and gave wonderful customer service we will definitely be returning!
5 of us had 5 fantastic meals here! Our first visit. Amazing value for money, very friendly staff who were so helpful. Fast service. Can't recommend enough!! Will come back!!
Popped in for first time with my mate. Only reason we chose pub is football was on. And definitely glad we did. Went for the small plates great deal at 5 for £19. What a steal. The bao buns are unbelievable. Recommendation of the manager Alison. And all I can say is wow. Found a new place for football.
My friend and I visited The Victory in Ashingdon on Friday 18th November to see Aaron Kelly. The pub was well decorated for the World Cup with flags etc and Christmas Trees. The staff and customers were all really friendly, in fact, the landlady even had a boogie. Aaron Kelly was excellent too. We will be back and I would thoroughly recommend this venue.
Went on Friday for a meal. The meal itself was really good but unfortunately was put off by the amount of food flies and the amount of mould on the windows as someone who has asthma I was finding it hard to breathe and the toilets were no better. Been going here for many years now it’s a shame this spoiled it.
Allison the new manager is absolute top draw, aswell as abby absolutely quality service serving up the double vodka cokes and cleaning up any spillages that may occur, 10/10 service would highly recommend, banging pub . lewis the chef chefing up top draw meals
Went for Sunday lunch, not too full so had a choice of tables. Nice food, reasonable prices. Lovely and helpful staff
Me and the boys just smashed enough chicken wings with some after-golf beers. Sonya with a Y served us. Unbelievable service, always with a cheeky smile. Better than the last one that served me here, whatever her name was.
Family meal for three. Excellent value for money menu and fantastic service throughout. Nothing but praise for all concerned. Highly recommended.
