I've had pets registered at Nithsdale for many years now. All staff I've come into contact with are really friendly, helpful & knowledgeable. In the event of any treatment required, I have always been given treatment options with honest estimated costs, which I really appreciate as, in the past at a different practice, I have had a bad experience of greatly underestimated costs. My pets are precious to me & I wouldn't take them anywhere other than Nithsdale. I definitely recommend Nithsdale Veterinary Practice.

First impressions were good and the staff seemed lovely.  Unfortunately, there was a charge for something which, when I queried this, I did not get a response, when I did finally speak to someone, staff seemed to be avoiding giving an answer.  The consult seemed a bit pricey too. I initially thought this was a local vet practice, it appears to be owned by a very large vet chain.

Highly recommended! My dog had to have a tumour removed and the provided amazing advice, customer service and support throughout the entire process. They showed care for my dog that exceeded my expectations. All costs were explained before hand and all part of the procedure   carefully explained too giving me piece of mind. My dog is now doing well and they did follow up appointments free of charge too care for him

I've been with this vet practice for 24 years, and they've provided excellent care for my 5 dogs over this time. Great vets, nurses and reception staff. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Staff are lovely, very helpful, very professional, I highly recommend this practice.  Joined the practice in 2018, recently took a young nervous rescue dog and they were patient and understanding. The waiting room is a bit wee but manageable.

Staff are all lovely and very friendly and helpful, we have used Nithsdale to look after our cats and now our new addition to our family in our beards collie cross puppy. Great all round service.

My visit was for a booster vaccination. Since my dog is a recent rescue from Northern Ireland and seems to have issues with vet centres she was unusually hyper. However the procedure was conducted quickly and professionally, a quick health check and weight check done and over in a few minutes. Cost was £46. I am assured that this is now considered reasonable. Since I have been with this practice and its predecessors since the 1970s I see no reason for change.

We know that our Cretan rescue dog Glen is in safe hands at Nithsdale Vets. We brought him back with us when we moved back to Dumfries after living in Crete when he was just a year old. Now 5 years on he is thriving. Staff are always helpful and friendly and happy to give advice and support.

All vets and staff are very welcoming and easy to talk to and do there best to care for our pets..

All I can say is I am glad we changed vets when we did to Nithsdale Vets Ltd they have done our family dog proud and gave him a new lease of life Thanks to everyone you's have all made us feel so welcomed
