Damhead Kennels and Cattery is nestled in the hills just outside of Dumfries at the end of a quiet country lane. A peaceful sanctuary for holiday stays.

Story

At Damhead we provide spacious, heated kennels for your four legged friends. Your dogs will get two lead walks am and pm, the length of which varies to suit our guests. Dogs can be walked off lead but only if you express permission. We also have a large compound area where the dogs get out for play time or a good sniff. Dogs are fed on a complete food but this can be supplemented if needed. The feeding pattern your dog receives at home will be carried on here - so if it’s once, twice or three times a day let us know and we will do the same. Medication can also be administered at no extra charge. Beds and cosy bedding is supplied and changed regularly during their stay.
For the cats we supply cosy, heated cat cabins. All cats receive one to one time whether it is having a cuddle or playing with a toy. Beds, bedding and scratch posts are supplied for your furry friend. Again we supply a complete diet for our cats supplemented with a little meat. Medication can also be administered at no extra charge.
