The Vet Waltham Forest

I recently moved over to this practice from another practice after 12 years. The vets, nurses and reception staff at The Vet Walthamstow are very professional, knowledgeable and just lovely. You can tell that they enjoy working here and it impacts on the care they give. I am so relieved I made this move. My pet has an ongoing health issue and I know she is in good hands. I live in Romford and the journey is more than worth it!

Avoid this people. I’ve been there twice and would never go again. Prices terrible, customer service disgusting. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! When my dog needed emergency treatment the first question was - can you wear a mask at your visit? I have a shaking screaming dog in my hands and you are asking me to wear a mask first! Went to Pets at Home Chingford Vet. They are the best people ever and always happy to provide an emergency service to my both rabbits and my dog. -Julia Wilson- P.S emergency VET request after pandemic! Amazing service as usual - can never fault our experiences here + my dog Huxley is always so well looked after! The staff are so gentle and professional with my anxious rescue, and always explain everything so thoroughly. Highly recommend!

I am grateful beyond words to the staff here that helped saved my fluffy boy a 1 year old black kitten ‍ after being shot with a lead ball Dr Kuran has been amazing in saving my boy and I can not praise Hannah enough for the care and help to myself throughout this difficult situation as she has helped calm me , comfort me and also with the logistics of the paperwork for the bills involved in the surgeries; Sue at the Reception is always welcoming and kind as well The team have been brilliant and can not praise them enough as my fluffy baby made a full recovery and the care and service has been outstanding Thank You

Reception is clean and bright. Divided into 2 seating areas 1 for cats and 1 for dogs. Well thought out. And the vet we saw was very nice

Had absolutely horrible experience tonight. Vets and nurses are very nice, love pets, respect owners. Management doesn’t fit at the right place. Unfortunately manager doesn’t give me her name, when asked. But definitely on wrong job. Not nice to customers, don’t care about pets. Is she on the right position to get job with pets and public? Girl got an attitude, probably not experienced enough in this kind of business. Looks and feels like aren’t professional people are working in the management. Just today recommended this vets to my neighbor. Now I’m starting to regret. Very upsetting to get in nice vets and get to deal with people like this manager. We were actually only 9 mins late got stuck in rush hour traffic. Then had to wait in queue for 10 mins at vets before we could check in only to be told we can’t be seen as 20 mins late ! Had very big trouble getting our dog into vets tonight as she was very nervous after her operation Monday . Charkey only had to be briefly be checked over for 2 mins ! Took my elderly mum's cat here. Young girl on reception had been rude to her on the phone and she was reluctant to see her. I booked in and then listened as the girl was rude and patronising to another elderly lady that had booked in on line but the girl was saying she hadn't done it 'properly'- just help her then.She was clearly upset as her dog was very unwell. A little empathy for eldetly people wouldnt go amiss! They are dealing with sick animals that they are worried about and find computers confusing. More staff training needed!

I booked a free flee check on the website, i showed up and went to pay for the flee treatment they applied on my cat, they tried to charge me £53. The Women at the desk was saying i booked a consultation with the vet, when i didn’t. One of the women was quite rude and saying my cat hasn’t been to vet for over a year, so i should pay for it anyway. It got resolved in the end. Wouldn’t recommend.

We are very happy with the help and service from The Vet in Waltham Forest. The members of staff are very professional and they are all very caring. We recommend The Vet Waltham Forest because we know that our chihuahua Lia Maria is having the best service everytime she needs it. We would like to think that Lia Maria would also say thank you to all members of staff, specially her regular vet Dr Heyl; because you all take all her vet-fears away from her when she visits The Vet. Thank you.

One of my dogs had a serious condition and thanks to The Vet Waltham Forest acting fast she is now safe and sound and I have my life back! We have two dogs, thankfully we were recommended this place by our close friend that has six rescue dogs, you have to feel a trust with your vets when you pass them your precious friends. We’ve been to see them several times over the years, firstly the consultation price is a bargain, they take the time to examine our dogs and always answer all our questions, and we have many:. Typically I’m weary of anything medical thrown at me as the body usually able to heal itself given the right conditions, yet here with each vet and staff I met I was constantly reassured and explained fully the reasons of the recommended treatment. The team is passionate and animal lovers.
