brilliant service, really great food for the price. Good size portions and a great atmosphere.
A good value breakfast done to a decent standard. There is a relaxed vibe in this spoons in the morning, lots of tables, it's clean and it's a nice building with a open fire at the back.
One of the better Wetherspoons I've been in. It has a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and an all round decent pub. Food and drink only rarely takes long to arrive, and when there are unforeseen delays, the staff are quick to keep you updated.
Typical Spoons menu, but what made this one different to any other we've been to, is how immaculate it was. So clean, tidy, bright and airy. Love the new breakfast menus As we're new to the area, we will definitely be visiting again.
Warm and cozy. Comfy chairs. Nice staff. Love the fireplaces. I like it more than overcrowded ones in the city centre. I like the idea that it's trying to create a safe place for everyone. My only issue is that the price for jacket potatoes got higher comparing to other places. Especially that Weatherspoon in general is lacking healthy food options. Mostly deep fried staff :/. But I love the hot drink refill .
Nicely converted old cinema. This chain provides very good beverages and OK food for a good price. As a solo guest I always feel comfortable in their establishments and I don't have to wade through a group of locals to get to the bar
Went here the other night, warm to sit in,drinks were a good price, service was quick for a Friday night considering it was busy. Most staff friendly however there was one member of staff that had a face like a slapped backside. Moaned when we asked her if she could clear our table as we had just sat down and there were dirty plates on the table.
Very experienced, polite, helpful and friendly staff. Fresh and good quality food, good variety of local breweries. Fantastic atmosphere and fishy ponds creatures scenery above your head as well as many local history messages from posters and paints.
Comfy pub with all of the benefits of a Spoons; cheap food and drinks and friendly staff as always. Wonderful themed decor with period paintings and two open fires, which are a godsend in winter. Men's toilets were somewhat "fragrant", though.
